This weekend we were so excited that we were able to attend two big events. The National Capital BBQ was taking place. This was our second year at the event, and it was my first baseball game ever, the Washington Nationals vs Texas Rangers. I don’t want to write much about baseball as that will be covered in the next post.
This time around, we did not try ribs as usual, we got very authentic Beef Brisket sandwiches which were succulent, juicy and very tender. I have always wanted to visit North Carolina, Memphis, Kansas and Texas to feed my BBQ addiction. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a big BBQ eater, but I like it whenever I eat it. I have been amused by the fact that every region adds its own twist to it. I wouldn’t mind going on a BBQ hunt through the country to try every kind. Enjoy the pictures.
