Reporting Back from Namibia (Africa)

Below are some photos from my recent trip to Namibia (southern Africa).  We traveled up north to a town called Ondangwa, then on to Etosha National Park – my first safari!  Definitely a country worth visiting, and it’s not too far from South Africa or Victoria Falls, which should definitely be on everyone’s to-see list!  Also, I’d like to give a special plug to the capital city, Windhoek, which was surprisingly pleasant.  Sort of a mix between southern/central California and Europe with great wining and dining options and gorgeous golden, rolling hills.  -k

This zebra was actually that close, one of the first we saw...and definitely not the last.

Cows' heads made into a sort of sculpture. Very bizarre, yet oddly artistic.
