No matter if you are a professional photographer or a very serious amateur photographer. There is one thing you need to have on you always and that is a small point and shoot camera. I don’t care what brand, how old or what shape it is in. As long as you can point it, press the button and it takes a picture that’s all you need from your little baby. It is a fact that the best camera, is the one you have on you. For some reason I still don’t put camera phones in that category, because of the sheer dorkiness of pointing it in an awkward way and taking a picture. Most of the time these pictures stay on your camera-phone. I do agree that we are getting there, the capabilities on an iPhone 3g sometimes astonishes me, specially the new feature of using your finger to tap what you want in focus, and the shear amount of editing one can do on the phone itself, but it still falls short of the power of a point and shoot camera.
I love these canon SD1200, pretilicious point and shoot cameras which come in uber colors to satisfy even the most black and white person out there. I have gone through 3 canon point and shoot cameras and none of them have failed on me and the picture quality is great. I only upgraded everytime to move to a smaller size so that it goes where I go. So if you are looking for a point and shoot this holiday season I would recommend these babies. My favorite color
Would love to hear from you. What is your current point and shoot camera? please leave a comment below.
