Nikon recently released an education app for iPhone users. I have now been playing with it for a few weeks now. At first look it looks great, it is very well developed and the interface looks cool. It covers things like “Shooting Techniques”, “Fundamentals of Photography” and “Image Editing”. For what it is for(i.e. free), it is definitely worth a try. There is also an inbuilt Glossary which comes in handy when somebody throws a curve ball at you with some technical jargon…(you can always excuse yourself and then comeback with style
)
If you are an amateur photographer, who likes to shoot their kids and want to improve on their travel pictures, I would totally recommend the app. You got nothing to loose. I myself have found some great tips and use it regularly. These days with everything digital you can try try try ..till you like what you see.
