So, we’ve put a lot of thought into our logo recently. The entire thought process has involved smalll, square napkins, pens, pencils for the moments of frustration, PPT slides, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and perhaps a glass of Pinot Grigio to get the creative juices flowing. If you’ve never designed a logo before, just know that it’s an amazingly exciting process…BUT…it’s not easy. You have to think about the color scheme and combination, the meaning behind it, the font, the size, spacing between letters, where it will be seen, and how it will be interpreted. We came up with the idea of using a “bindi” (a decorative red dot that women in India apply to their forehead, just above their eyebrows, to show that they’re married) in some capacity. We did a ton of research on variations of the bindi and finally decided that we should take a much simpler and contemporary approach. Anyway, below is the final product. We’d like to give a very special thanks to Carmen from Simply Couture Designs for helping complete the logo design! Your services were greatly appreciated!
