WPPI 2010. Nuf said. It was our first time at the annual convention and we learned oodles. Not to mention it was in Vegas, one of our favorite playgrounds west of the Mississippi, mainly because of the insane people watching and shooting opportunities. It’s probably the most eclectic and eccentric city in the U.S. Scandalously fabulous in its own way. The lectures and workshops were truly inspiring, especially the platform and master classes with some of the greatest wedding, portrait, and fashion photographers in the world. From Jose Villa to Marcus Bell, different styles, different techniques, different attitudes…all incredible. We even made it to a couple of the WPPI parties. A big thumbs up to Tryst at the Wynn, the surprise location for the Lasers and Airhorns extravaganza that we had heard so much about. All in all, it was one of the most productive trips we’ve made to Vegas, well, it goes without saying. Below are some pix we took during our somewhat limited free time. We balanced out the absurd greasiness of In-N-Out with a sushi night at Tao.
Oh, and we finally bought our first Shoot Sac and will be using it this weekend during a wedding shoot. Excited! Slightly geeky, I know, to even mention it, but the bag’s just that cool and practical.
Happy ding, ding, ding!
P.S. – mix of all cameras

A little window shopping never hurts anyone. Daydreaming about shooting a wedding with these Carolina Herrera dresses..jpg)
