Sharon bridal portrait – jefferson memorial

Sharon emerged from the car with her mom, looking absolutely stunning…with a huge smile on her face.  Obviously ready to take on the heat that was barreling down on downtown DC.  She had chosen the Jefferson Memorial for the shoot.  One of the beauties in the nation’s capital.  Columns galore.  LOVE.  There was barely an ounce of shyness when we whipped out the cameras.  We told her editorial…and she hiked up the dress part way and gave us a coy and playful smile as if she were behind the scenes at an InStyle shoot.  Totally fabulous.  It’s all about taking a risk…and bringing out the edge, with a touch of innocence.  She was a total trooper in the heat too.  I mean, we were melting away, taking swigs of Gatorade (God bless tourism and refreshment stands randomly placed around the city).  But, Sharon, no.  Her mom was fantastic as well, with a massive  Texan heart, ready to invite us to her home (for BBQ!).  One of these days, we will make it down there!  Their wedding count-down has unofficially begun…only 2 weeks away!
